Sacramento: Northern California Time of Remembrance (NCTOR)

  • California Museum 1010 0 Street Sacramento, CA USA

The Northern California Time of Remembrance (NCTOR) committee announces exciting and inspiring events that commemorate the 75th anniversary of the signing of Executive Order 9066, which suspended due process and authorized the unjust incarceration of 120,000 Americans of Japanese ancestry into America’s concentration camps during World War II.

Presented by the NCTOR committee of the Japanese American Citizens League, this special event from 1:00 to 4:00 pm features a screening of a shorter version of Resistance at Tule Lake along with a Q&A with filmmaker Konrad Aderer, followed by a reception.
